How can I help

Sonya received a call around 3am.                                                This little girl "Christine" was rescued after her mum was attacked by two dogs.  Unfortunatly Christines Mums injuries where to severe for her to surive the attack and she died about 4am. Christine went to the Koala Hospital for a check up and then was placed with a carer.

This unfortunatly is a common rescue with Koalas.

When Koalas are on the move they will often travel into people backyards, often where there are dogs, the best thing you can do if you see a koala in your yard, is to lock your dog away and call a wildlife carer.

Koalas are now a vulnerable species due to loss of habitat, road trauma and dog attack.
